Connected Body

In this workshop, I invite you to expand your movement possibilities from a place of playfulness and expansive imagination. We will explore different connections with ourselves, others, time, and space through guided improvisations and somatic-based tools. Also, we will dive into practices of deep listening, to find the connection with other people in duets, trios and group compositions. 

Laisvie nodigt je uit om je lichaamsbewustzijn te vergroten, bewegingsmogelijkheden te ontdekken en je dieper met jezelf en je omgeving te verbinden. De workshop wordt in het engels, maar laat je daar niet door tegen houden….het lichaam spreekt..

Laisvie Ochoa is danseres, dansdocente, choreografe en videokunstenares. Ze is opgeleid in de moderne dans. In haar lessen helpt ze de dansers hun lichaamsbewustzijn te vergroten en hun fysieke, mentale en creatieve mogelijkheden verder te ontwikkelen door naar zichzelf te luisteren. Ze wil dans toegankelijk maken voor iedereen en werkt ook met dansers met een handicap en met oudere dansers.

Laisvie Ochoa is a Colombian–Lithuanian choreographer, dancer, teacher, and the Director of ConCuerpos, an inclusive dance company with a dual presence in Colombia and the Netherlands. Trained in Psychology and Multimedia Creation in Colombia, she pursued a Master in Choreography (COMMA) and the Embodied Life Art Program (ELAP) in the Netherlands. Her creative exploration is based on working from subjectivity, developing bodily intelligence from a state of listening and finding creative freedom from the abundance of imagination. Currently, Laisvie is developing an artistic research on accessibility in dance, seeking to create a stage language that allows the autonomous participation of people with visual and hearing impairments as an audience. Laisvie moves between Colombia and the Netherlands, continuing her work with ConCuerpos, being a dancer, teacher, and maker.

DJ Aloes draait een muzikale mix uit allerlei uiteenlopende stijlen tot ver over de landsgrenzen, door de tijd naar nu en terug, bekende en onbekende muziek, van reggae, percussie tot tango en klassiek. Laat je verrassen!
